CSR has started its Rockwool operations in China since 1995. The new Rockwool production line in Guangzhou commenced operation in early 2008 adding extra capacity to meet market demand in the region. CSR Rockwool is manufactured from long fine fibres, spun from molten natural rock such as basalt and limestone, bonded with thermosetting resin. With its distinguished technology, process and chemical composition, CSR Rockwool is employed to meet the highest standard in thermal insulation, fire protection and acoustic control, etc.
CSR Rockwool devotes to the development of insulation industry in China through investing in advanced technology and production capacity and active involvement in projects in various sectors such as petrochemical, oil & gas, power, building construction, ship building, etc.
CSR Structural Rock Wool Composite Panel
RokcoreTM is a high quality non-combustible structural composite panel manufactured using premium Paroc technology. It is composed of a structural rock wool core bonded to coated steel sheet facings. The rock wool fibres in the core are densely packed and uniformly aligned to achieve controlled strength properties. Rokcore is ideal to be used as self-supported external walls, partition walls of all kinds of construction across commercial, industrial and residential markets.
Our RokcoreTM plant in Guangzhou is the first foreign owned manufacturer to produce structural rock wool cored composited panels on a continuous production line in China and the panels produced in our Guangzhou plant are to the same specifications and quality standard as which are from Paroc Finland. With the Rokcore plant in South China, CSR is able to supply premium panels to customers in the region in more effective way and with reduced lead times.
